Melissa Hawkes is a British author who, at the age of eight, found herself in foster care. It was at this age that she explored creative writing, at first through songwriting, before she fell utterly in love with books. When Melissa isn’t writing, she’s working as a full-time marketing lead, reading masses of books and being creative through music and art.
